About the Author
I have been writing poetry for nearly half a century and host the radio show, Writing on the Air of KOOP Radio (www.koop.org). I am also involved in a number of literary organizations, and am a past President of the Austin Poetry Society. I believe President John F. Kenedy was correct when he said: "When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses."

Poems
As Thyself (10/19/06)
The healing of the world starts within our own souls. War or peace, I must accept my responsibility for what my life has contributed to it all.
We are all orphans.
Victims of one war or another.
